Our STAFF

  • Tom Beeghly

    SENIOR PASTOR

Tom grew up in Southern California and is married to Kristine. Tom blames his loss of hair on his five children. He has a Masters degree in Christian Education from Talbot Seminary Los Angeles and a Master of Divinity from North Park University in Chicago. Tom moved to Michigan in 1996 and has served at ECC Whitehall since 2007.

  • Justin Porath

    ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Growing up on Michigan's faraway 45th parallel, yet cutting his theological teeth in Chicago, Justin has the compassion and pragmatism of a small-town boy with the lingering punch and enthusiasm of a windy city urbanite. Along the way, he stumbled into his partner in ministry and in life, Lacy, and together they advance a simple but serious life and mission: to serve people, with all their gifts, while following Jesus.

  • Craig Smith

PASTOR OF WORSHIP & COMMUNITY OUTREACH

White Lake native, Craig went on to attend North Park University in Chicago. Having found a passion for youth and teaching, he continued to teach in the Chicago area public schools for fifteen years. In addition to his musical gifts, Craig nurtures a talent for creative vision and local outreach. His greatest hope for worship ministries is that it will help create space for both the curious and the committed to meet with God.

  • Chuck Connell

PASTOR OF YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT MINISTRIES

Chuck is our Junior High & High School Youth Pastor. He and his wife, Courtney and sons, Isaiah and Matthew, are here to impact the lives of teens, and teach the truth about Jesus Christ. He is excited to work with the youth in the White Lake area.

  • Terri Means

    DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES

Terri has a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Central Michigan University. She has put this degree to good use, having gained extensive experience working with children in many different capacities such as daycare, teaching, and ministry. She is married to her husband, Greg, and have two married children and five grandchildren. Terri’s passion is bringing together the two strongest influences in a child’s life, the family and the church, to create a much stronger influence than either can have on its own. This passion is reflected in the curriculum of the Children’s Ministry programs here at ECC Whitehall!

  • Amy Love

    EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATOR

With a degree in Psychology from Spring Arbor College and a gift for complexity, Amy is the glue that holds our ministries here at ECC together. She and her family have been attending ECC since 1991 and feel so blessed to be a part of this family. She and husband, Troy have two married children and five grandchildren. Amy joined the staff in 2009 and her continued desire is to spend every day doing what Christ asks His followers to do: love God and love one another!
